Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Lee decided to pursue dentistry during his third year of college at Tufts University. His motivation came from a genuine desire to help people get back their smiles and make a meaningful impact in underserved areas. This calling to serve others and restore confidence through dental care became the driving force behind his career choice. Coming from a healthcare family—with his father working as a pediatrician in Korea—Dr. Lee was naturally drawn to a profession where he could make a direct, positive impact on people's lives and well-being.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from Tufts University, Dr. Lee completed his dental education at Boston University. He continues to advance his skills and knowledge through specialized continuing education courses, including implant and restoration CE courses, staying current with the latest techniques and technologies in modern dentistry. Dr. Lee is committed to providing the highest quality care by continuously expanding his expertise in various aspects of dental treatment.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Lee maintains an active lifestyle and has a passion for sports both as a participant and spectator. He enjoys playing golf and tennis with his friends, which helps him stay physically active and socially connected. As a sports enthusiast, he loves watching baseball, basketball, and soccer, keeping up with his favorite teams and enjoying the excitement of competitive athletics.
Originally from Daejeon, South Korea, Dr. Lee brings a global perspective to his practice. His family includes his father, who is a pediatrician in Korea, his mother, and his sister, who works in the marketing department at a cosmetic company called "Benefit."
One particularly interesting fact about Dr. Lee is that he has never seen someone with a tori bigger than his own—a unique anatomical feature that gives him a personal understanding of oral anatomy variations that some patients may experience.
