Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Lee always wanted to be in the healthcare profession to help people live healthy and put a smile on their faces. Coming from a family deeply rooted in healthcare—with her father as an oral surgeon, her mother as a retired nurse, her brother as a dentist, and her sister studying to become a veterinary doctor—she was naturally drawn to the field. Inspired by her father's 20 years of mission work, Dr. Lee and her brother aim to follow his steps in giving back to the community through healthcare service.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After graduating from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Lee completed her dental education at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM). During her studies, she gained valuable real-world experience through a mission trip to Cebu, Philippines, where she provided dental care to underserved communities. She continues to expand her knowledge through continuing education courses at dental expos and stays current with the latest developments in dentistry. Dr. Lee is a member of the American Dental Association and the Connecticut and Massachusetts State Dental Associations.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Lee has a diverse range of interests that keep her active and creative outside of dentistry. She loves to play tennis and go swimming to stay physically active. Travel is one of her greatest passions, and she enjoys spending quality time with the people she loves while exploring new places.

Music plays a significant role in her life—she has a great passion for it and plays the drums, always eager to learn new instruments. Dr. Lee also has a deep appreciation for fine art, especially impressionism, and makes it a point to visit fine art museums whenever she travels to a new city.

An interesting fact about Dr. Lee is that Las Vegas was the first city she lived in when she moved to the United States, where she spent five years before pursuing her dental career. Originally from South Korea, she brings a unique global perspective to her practice and is fluent in both English and Korean, allowing her to better serve diverse patients in the community.
